Liam joined Berry & Oak in February 2016 as an Administrator and works closely with Diane to provide assistance with administrative tasks. He particularly enjoys preparing client files for review appointments and dealing with actions from client meetings. Liam has worked in financial services for 4 years and is currently studying towards his pensions administration qualification. Once achieved, Liam has aspirations of achieving his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. In his spare time, Liam is a keen footballer and plays for local teams on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as supporting Leeds United. Liam also enjoys running and has completed a number of 10k runs for charity.
What do you like about working at Berry & Oak?
I like speaking to and meeting face-to-face with our clients. This helps to build a relationship with them, so if they ever need anything, they feel confident and comfortable asking. I also love working with my work colleagues, we get on very well and it makes each day that bit easier.
What does the day in the life of an Administrator look like?
A typical day for me will consist of dealing with any client requests or queries that have been received, preparing our client files for review appointments, dealing with actions from client meetings and communicating with different areas of the team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
What are your top three life highlights so far?
1. Passing my first CII exam (RO1)
2. Passing my driving test
3. Swimming with sharks in Mexico
What is an ability you wish you had?
To read people’s minds! Or, being able to read something once (facts or important information) and remember it at will.
What’s currently top of your bucket list?
Going to Las Vegas and staying in Caesars Palace
