Peter

While I had been keeping spreadsheets of our finances for some time, Maureen was concerned that she might be left with a whole load of bank accounts and other investments, and we also realised that Inheritance Tax was going to be a problem in the future

Why did you need a financial planner?

For me, it was peace of mind. Peter’s always been my financial adviser, so I knew that if he wasn’t there, I couldn’t cope with what he’d done, and I needed somebody that I could rely on.

I contacted Andrew, and we arranged to have an initial one-hour free meeting. He explained that there were certain investments that we could make that would minimise our Inheritance Tax liability.
