What we charge for
Your initial meeting with us is at our expense. You’re under no obligation to continue working with us if you don’t feel that we’re the right fit for you.
Charges will be applied only once we have agreed with you, in writing, the work we will be undertaking on your behalf and how much we will charge for that work. Only once you have signed to say you are happy to proceed, will any fee become payable.
We charge an agreed fee for:
- Analysing your unique financial landscape and understanding your requirements.
- Researching solutions and negotiating the best deal for you.
- Implementing and monitoring your financial plan.
We charge for these services as that’s the way we stay in business! We’re not paid by the product providers – but that also means we’re not tied to their products and can stay completely independent which we believe leads to better outcomes for you.
Our approach to fees
We believe in being completely transparent about how we charge. That means there are no nasty, hidden surprises when you work with us. However, we also believe that it wouldn’t be fair to apply fees in a one-size-fits-all way when we work so hard to treat our clients as individuals.
We always, therefore, spend time gaining a thorough understanding of the ways you want us to help you before we work out how much that work will cost. This will then be agreed between us before any chargeable work starts.

The value of our work
Of course, when we calculate the fees we charge our clients, we factor in the financial gains we believe we will be able to achieve for our clients. We wouldn’t dream of undertaking work where we didn’t believe your fees could be more than offset by the savings we help you make or the returns you see on your investments.
Some gains are easy to see over the years we work with clients. They are there in black and white on reports and in your bank statement. Others are less easy to calculate but, nevertheless, every bit as valuable to our clients.
It’s hard to put a price on your future security, peace of mind, and the ability to avoid costly mistakes or spot beneficial opportunities. However, gaining clarity and understanding over complex financial matters and being able to take decisions with confidence are all priceless gains of our work.
Ask any of our clients, and they’ll tell you how much value they place on the advice we give and the support we provide implementing their financial plans.
Contact us to arrange an initial meeting with us at our expense. At this meeting, we will gain a full understanding of your needs and accurately detail the cost of the work.
