What do you like about working at Berry & Oak?

• I find it fascinating to sit in on client meetings and gain an understanding of the financial guidance that we have to offer.
• Creating relationships is something I look forward to, especially due to no circumstances being the same, as financial freedom differs based on one’s perception.
• I love coming into the office and interacting with my team every day, we all strive to push each other into becoming the most knowledgeable versions of ourselves.

What does the day in the life of a Graduate Trainee look like?

It may sound like a cliché, but no two days are ever the same. My days are largely focused on on-the-job learning and assisting the team with their daily responsibilities. This often involves working with various provider websites and systems, managing client files, preparing for meetings, and supporting with administrative tasks. Alongside this, I am also dedicating time to studying for the qualifications I’m working towards.

What are your top three life highlights so far?

• Skydiving over the palm in Dubai
• The day we got promoted in football against our rivals John Moore’s University.
• Sunset helicopter ride over the St Christopher in Brazil.
