Rebecca joined the Berry & Oak team in October 2021 after deciding on a career change, having spent the past 12 years working in Forensics. She holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and aims to become a Chartered Paraplanner in the future.

At home

Rebecca is married to Nick and has a young daughter, Margot. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys long walks, exploring the countryside with her family and has recently invested in a Peloton bike to keep fit and to help her keep up with her very energetic one year old.

What does a day in the life of a Trainee Paraplanner look like?

As a Trainee Paraplanner I write reports that corroborate the advice provided to our clients by our Financial Planners. I need to ensure each case is sufficiently researched and documented to meet with the high standards in our industry regulations.

What do you like about working at Berry & Oak?

After working for such a large organisation, it has been a welcome change to work for a smaller company with likeminded values and a family feel. The team at Berry & Oak have been very welcoming and supportive with my training and development so far.

What are your top three life highlights so far?

The birth of our daughter
Getting married to my husband in a Chateau in France
The first time I took the controls of a plane for take-off
